Westway
Travel is an independent family owned Travel Agency that has been looking
after the population of Wickford for over 35 years.
Purchased from the founders, the Weston family in 1981. Our Chairman
Michael Prior brought 27 years of experience in Airlines and Tour
Operating to the company.
The agency is now looked after on a day to day basis by his two sons.
Ian Prior (Managing Director) has been with the company for over 20 years
and is based in the Leisure Office.
Kevin Prior (Corporate Director) transferred from the High Street location
to head the new Business Travel division. Having opened six years ago, it
has now established itself with many local and London based companies.
The success of both offices is based on its policy of individual, personal
and knowledgeable advice. The staff regularly attend training sessions and
are encouraged to participate in familiarisation visits to manyof the
major tourist areas of the world. Recent visits include South Africa,
Mauritius and The Disney Cruise Ship.
Within the company we have staff that are recognised by the Australian
Tourist Commision as 'Aussie Specialists'. We have recently teamed up with
the Quantas Holidays to produce our own brouchure.
Westway Travel is fully bonded with ABTA our trade association and is
licensed to issue Airline & Ferry tickets. |
